Shelley helpfully gave us all the information we needed and left us to it. Parking would have been a challenge had we not been the only ones staying, but there was room in the village. In high season it could be an issue, given the small size of the place. A great place to stay and highly recommended."

"The property suited our needs being ideally situated, and providing comfortable accommodation. The pub had a good atmosphere with reasonably priced food., and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, during our stay housekeeping was haphazard. We had to ask for clean towels and the bed wad only ever made up once during a seven night stay. Although not connected with the accommodation, it was disappointing that the Boatyard cafe did not open early enough to provide us with breakfast. During our stay last year we could rely on this!"

A bit disappointed having to wait for an hour for food but the staff did apologise and gave us our drinks FOC as a way of an apology. Unfortunately, I’d passed being hungry so didn’t finish my meal. That said it would not stop me coming back as overall we had a fantastic stay."

Cosy and perfect for two people, it has great access to the south of Cornwall but also serves as a good base to go and explore the rest of Cornwall if you're willing to drive. Space was nice and quiet and you'll be able to properly switch off. Just be aware that the road down to the property is a little narrow so don't be speeding your way through that country lane!"
