Top off a tour of Ireland’s number 1 visitor attraction with a perfectly poured pint of the black stuff.

At the centre of the Guinness Storehouse is the giant pint glass that rises through each of the building’s seven storeys. If full, the glass would hold 14.3 million pints of Guinness. Instead it holds the million visitors that pour through the Storehouse’s doors ever year.

The self-guided interactive tour offers visitors an audio-visual experience of how the drink has been made, stored, transported and enjoyed throughout its 250 year history. Guinness is today exported to 150 countries worldwide.

No Guinness tour would be complete without delving into the history of Guinness advertising. From timeless images like the Guinness toucan to unforgettable slogans like ‘Guinness is Good for You’ and ‘My Goodness, My Guinness’, the Storehouse offers an astounding archive of the iconic Irish brand.

Adult entry tickets to the Guinness Storehouse include a free pint of the black stuff. There is an art to pouring Guinness, and visitors are offered the opportunity to have a go before sitting back and enjoying their well-earned certificate and hand poured pint in the Perfect Pint Bar. Or why not leave it to the experts and enjoy sipping your Guinness in the Gravity Bar on the seventh floor, while taking in the breathtaking 360 degree panoramic views of Dublin.

True Guinness aficionados may wish to splurge and pay extra for the Guinness Connoisseur Experience that includes entry to an exclusive private bar and four different varieties of Guinness, along with a guide to offer the background behind the different styles of the drink.

Finish off your visit with a trip to the Guinness store where a wide range of Guinness gifts and memorabilia is available.

The Guinness Storehouse is open daily from 9.30 a.m., except for Good Friday and 24th to 26th December. Booking online secures a 10% discount and a ticket that allows visitors to jump the queue.
