"A very loud fire alarm went off at 4am and went on for quite a while. I was already running on the stairs when it stopped. Goodbye sleep. The following morning I was expecting some apologies but no. When I mentioned it, the guy at the reception very cheerfully said "Oh, that. Yes, there was no fire, it was just a coffee machine. But so we know that the alarm works!" Which is Mecklenburg-Vorpommern idea of sense of humour, maybe."

"We have stayed in Gustrow many times over the years and usually choose another hotel, just out of the centre. This is a small hotel with small rooms. The Reception staff was very good and very friendly. The room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller. The bed was very hard, but the mattress was of good quality. The breakfast was not great. Limited hot food and not replenished very often. Personally, I would choose another hotel as this one did not offer the same quality of room or...

"Buchung 1 Tag vorher ohne Probleme ,Auf individuellen Wunsch wurde prompt reagiert. Organisation der Mahlzeiten hervorragend , ebenso die Qualität . Wenn das Hotel noch einen Personenaufzug besizten würde wären überall 5 Sterne gerechter zu vergeben als bei so manchen "5 Sterner " . Nochmals vielen Dank . Komme wieder !"

"Great hotel with lovely garden, close to the airport with convenient hourly buses. It's not a place to stay if you just want to relax in a hotel and enjoy the direct area. But if you are willing to travel to nearby Girona or you need an overnight hotel to catch a flight i would recommend i. Though there is some complaining on the site about the foodprices, i can only say i was pleased with what was offered.
