"Liked quiet room loved the service of two women at the seventh floor breakfast the woman with g name bought my hardboiled eggs each day / shuttle helpful / Poor communication house keeping asked they not come they rearranged my clothes also room service able pay cash soup ten dollars next night twenty refused cash . watch your money"

"We are regular guests at the Gran Hotel Costa Rica—the grande dame of old downtown San Jose. When Hilton Curio took over about 8 years they modernized the property, while still keeping some of the old aesthetics in place. It’s an upscale experience and the Bdeakfast Buffet is amongst the finest I’ve ever had. The gym is also modern and well equipped. Still the best hotel in the downtown area especially for business purposes. Highly recommended."
