"Perfect room for a family of five - with 2 queen beds and a set of bunk beds. Helpful staff and a great location. We stayed one night after arriving at JAC. Walked into town for dinner and left early for Grand Teton. It’s a great place to stay."
"Excellent property. We stayed here on the last day of a 10-day vacation into Grand Tetons and Yellowstone. I wish we had used this as our home base when we initially came to Jackson Hole at the beginning of our trip. Would definitely stay here again."
"We stayed here the final night of our trip, and really did not stay here to enjoy the other options the ranch provided. We stayed in a teepee (with my 13 year old son) for a fun end to the physically demanding trip we had. The teepee was very primitive, with only a couple of cots and no electricity. It actually stayed a solid/ comfortable temperature, and I didn't really get wet despite some rain.
Cell service in this area was bad, and the Wi-fi on site did not reach the teepee/ wagon areas. Again, due to no electricity in the tents, we had to charge phones and such at the main office/ restaurant/ lounge area.
The restaurant on property was actually pretty good, and I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. The prices however were a little high, but that seemed to be the standard for meals anywhere we went on our trip.
I cannot review the optional activities they provided, like horseback riding and fishing, as we did not stay long enough to take part. They did have a cool event in the morning where the ranch hands would drive the horses from the overnight stalls to the riding stalls. The only problem with this was the fact we saw it by accident and were not told about it. They should let their patrons know, as it is a cool (and free) experience, especially for the youth.
Staff answered any questions we had, but other than that we did not have many dealing with the staff."
"Our stay at Heart Six was amazing. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. We rode the horses twice and thoroughly enjoyed them. We will definitely be going back."
"We stayed in the house and enjoyed it! There was ample space in the house for our family of 6. The living room area was nice for the kids to spread out, and we appreciated having a kitchen. The location was great-- within walking distance to downtown. It was also very nice to have a washer a dryer. We would stay there again!"
Getting a glimpse into how things were in the past helps puts history into perspective. These buildings provide excellent examples of the way settlers lived.
