Do yourself a favour and don’t stay here. Not clean, in need of upgrade. No safes available in rooms unless you have an ‘executive room’. Heating doesn’t come on until 8pm. Certainly not a 4 star hotel in my view.

Built in the 18th Century, Mount Stewart is a handsome neoclassical house and garden on the eastern edge of Strangford Lough in County Down in Northern Ireland.
