Wonderful place. We had an absolutely amazing stay, from start to finish. Saw every kind of animal and the guides and staff could not be faulted. The food was incredible as well, and nothing was too much trouble.

Amazing experience. Staff were very hospitable. The game drives were also really cool. Our ranger, Daniel, went above and beyond to ensure that we saw all the animals on our list. Overall great experience.

My fiancé and I stayed for 2 nights at Elephant Plains and loved every minute. As I have never loved nature, I was skeptical and restricted the stay to 2 nights, but have left with khaki fever thanks to the safari guide (Matt) and tracker (Dumi). We spent one night at Mohlabetsi two years ago on a 7 day trip round South Africa. My family didn't want to leave but we always had in our minds to return to this very special place. This time we booked for 3 nights and it was absolutely wonderful. The people, the safari, the animals, the food, the lodges are just perfect. Mohlabetsi will always hold a very special place in all my family's hearts and will definitely go back again one day. I recommend this lodge to anyone!

What can I say other than I would love to return year after year to this place. From the staff who greeted us to the ranger and tracker who accompanied us in open Land Rovers on our small group safaris, every single person gave us care, attention and made us feel so very welcome. We saw amazing wildlife (6 of the Magnificent Seven), and even did some exciting off-roading in pursuit of a glimpse of the rarely seen African wild dogs who were running in a pack. Honestly, I could have driven all day...

This Safari camp massively exceeded all expections from arrival till the day we had to leave. All members of staff were highly knowledgeable, My partner and i learnt so much and we was very sad to leave.

Real bush experience can spot leopards relatively easily, lovely options for activities in terms of game drives in other private reserves and activities like star gazing tours. Lovely place, lovely staff and the owner goes out of her way to accommodate all requirements.

A unique and secluded location set in private reserve; with added advantage of having hosts nearby for attention and customer service. We arrived in the early evening to find a welcome fire/bbq already lit...such a kind gesture! Annie was on-hand to give details of road closures, shopping advice; general comfort chats. The surrounding garden was a delight for bird-lovers; attention to detail in the accommodation perfect combination of lowkey and luxury.

Wonderful place, Rangers, trackers and staff. Excellent food in terms of quality and choice and lovely wines / beers. Loved every minute and would love to return again. Been to other ( more expensive) camps in the area and this one is much more relaxed and enjoyable.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Words cannot describe how we feel about Kapama River Lodge. This place is unbelievable. I’ve stayed at many 5* hotels, but this lodge is far more superior than any of them.
