"Excellent get away - room was lovely and very quiet. staff were great particularly George, Morgan and Adam. Spa staff girls were also really friendly and helpful. One small observation/niggle re: the card swipe deposit. You need a physical card for this because we didnt have a cars we had to give reception full details of one of our card, which he wrote down and then they took an actual 50 deposit not a holding deposit from our apple pay. Hope that the written record of the card has been destroyed and as of yet the 50 is not showing as refunded, but is showing as another debit against my card. Hopefully this will rectify itself by Monday. Just think with today’s technology a better and secure way of taking deposits would be more appropriate. Apart from that - everything was spot on!"

"One nights stay in a double room with a hot tub. Had a great stay, exceptionally warm welcome from the lovely gentleman in the hut on arrival to car park, concierge and reception. Lovely a glass of fizz and the little tour of facilities. Room was really clean, loved the little spa basket of towels and slippers. The room was at the back of the hotel overlooking the pub and spa, no noise noted. The hot tub gave great views of the tree tops, which with autumn colours was amazing to look at my cheeky dip this morning with a brew. Enjoyed a cocktail in the terrace bar, which was great"

"A stunning hotel, beautiful room and helpful staff. Due to the storm we decided to eat in. Would be nice to see a more extensive menu as the quality was good for this size of hotel."

"Warm welcome and amazing, helpful staff team. Lovely clean rooms and great water pressure. Buffet style cooked breakfast was only thing that was not 100% ... one day it was all pretty dried under the lights, although the next stay it was much busier and breakfast was fresher as turnaround of stock was faster. We ate one night in the restaurant and the food was good but a little pricy, although expected for a hotel restaurant. We would definitely stay again if in the area."
