Top Grand Marais Hotel Reviews
Aspen Lodge
"We really enjoyed our room on third floor with a spa tub and the views of lake Superior, however, the bath towel rack fell down and the curtain rod completely fell down and took the curtains with it twice due to them being cheap. The hotel is certainly dated. I had an issue with Expedia and had to contact them because a fire pit was specified and it turns out there's a fire pit a few blocks away, The staff had no idea what they were talking about when I confronted them about this issue otherwise great location. Nice pool area breakfast with horrible. We bought our own"
Saganaga Lodge
"Well we had a blast there. Clean rooms, great host Joe was so knowledgeable of the area very friendly and helpful. Will be returning"
Thomsonite Beach Inn
"I think this property is probably older, but our room "cabin" was updated fairly recently it appeared. Everything was nice and clean and we had a good amount of space. We appreciated the lady at the front desk answering questions we had and she was pretty friendly. They provide all the wood and charcoal if you want to grill or use the firepits. They even provide smores which we planned to use over the firepit but it got pretty windy and chilly so we made them inside on the gas stove. They have a few outdoor lawn games like bocce, cornhole and washers and we played washers. (They also have board games in the office if you get there early enough to check those out). The view is beautiful right along the water and there is lots of seating outdoors to enjoy it. We definitely enjoyed our stay here."
East Bay Suites
"This is our second time and we love this place. The location is great to walk around town for food or shopping. There is not a better view of Lake Superior from our balcony."
The Shoreline Inn
"We stayed at the Shoreliner many years ago. It was wonderful to see how well maintained it was. A lovely location on Lake Superior, with a large deck over looking the Lake. Very restful and peaceful. You will love it."
Aspen Inn
"Good value for money. Plus a nice selection of breakfast options"
Feather Nest Inn
"Easy to access. Walking distance to shops and shoreline. Nicely decorated. Comfortable and quiet area."
Harbor Inn Self Check-in Hotel
"Our room was very nice and appeared to be recently updated. This is a โself serviceโ kind of place so there is no maid service during your stay. There is a number you can call if you need anything. It is a great location right across from the harbor so you can walk to everything in downtown Grand Marias. I would request a second floor room next time for better views of the harbor."
