"I checked in late and they left a packet with my key out for me. I stayed in a studio with kitchenette and had everything I needed. The lakeside sauna was a nice bonus. "

"Our room (#9) was ground floor and looking directly at the harbor. Street parking was right in front of our room (8-5 only 90 minutes allowed) but was easy met. Room was spacious and clean. Looks like it was updated within the last year. Very convenient and easy walking distance to great dining and shopping. Highly recommend it."

"I was very nervous after reading the reviews but we had a great stay. It's nothing fancy but the staff was great, the room had a beautiful view and it served its purpose. This location alone is worth the price we paid, which you're not going to find cheaper in Grand Marais. I mean, you're next door to World's Greatest Doughnuts! Maybe we just got lucky with our specific room but I think alot of the people in these reviews expected a 5 Star resort and just love to complain, but you get what you pay for! I would stay again! "
