"Grant Village is a very nice resort. Our room was spacious, clean and modern. We were on the second floor, no elevator. The receptionist offered (free) porter service to carry luggage, but we did it ourselves. There were two restaurants on-site. We had breakfasts and one dinner at the main restaurant - we couldn't make last minute reservations so ended up waiting to be seated for dinner - book a few days or weeks ahead if you know your schedule. The food was excellent."
"The space was adequate and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the room had a number of problems. It was poorly lit with not enough lighting. The sink would not drain very well. The largest problem was the smoke alarm started chirping in the middle of the night waking both of us. I am sure that the battery was low. I had to climb up on top of our bed and disconnect it from the wall and cover it with a pillow and towels in the bathroom so that we could go back to sleep. I left the smoke alarm with the front desk when we went out in the morning and by the time we returned, the staff had replaced the battery and had the alarm back in place. I understand that this maybe could not have been avoided but the sink should work properly and more lighting should be in place. The chocolate chip cookies were yummy and was a nice touch."
"The room was great. It was really good when on a road trip to have proper crockery and cutlery, a toaster, fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee machine. We were also provided with paper towels, washing up liquid, and tea towel.
We would not hesitate to recommend a stay here."
"Staff was great and kind. Nice, spacious rooms. Still seem to be in Covid times here. Glass at reception area and they serve you your breakfast. Quiet place next to the park and many good restaurants"
