"We loved our stay at Dodo Square. Dodo was a great location as a base to travel around the north of Mauritius. Entry details were emailed to us the day before arrival. And once we arrived one of the house keepers notified the admin and our room pin was activated. The studio apartment was clean, spacious and was tastefully decorated. And in a generally new condition. It had all the appliances to cook, if we wanted to. The surrounding area was very quiet in the mornings. "Jennifer and her staff were amazing, everyone was so friendly and helpful. The hotel location is excellent with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket close by. The breakfast choice is excellent and you can eat it on your balcony or have it served overlooking the beach. The hotel even organised a surprise snorkeling trip and decorated our bed for my birthday. On the weekend the area is a lot busier and noisier but it did not bother us."

"Everything about this hotel was on point. The facilities, service, food, kids club. JD the wellness staff member was exceptional and deserves recognition. Because of him we knew all about the hotel, facilities and ability to use the wellness centre at the spa free of charge. Without him we would not have known this. Kids club had kids eat free which was another lovely bonus. Well done Lux a great family holiday had for all the family :-)"

"You get what you pay for. These are a great price for space and location. They are a little tired and there's a lack of sunbeds, but overall great value for money. Beware the overspill from the clubs nearby - outside with very loud music til 6am one morning. But that's not the property's fault. The dogs are noisy but not aggressive."
