I don't think I've ever stayed in such a lovely hotel. Absolutely everything has been thought of. The staff, especially the owners were friendly and very helpful indeed. It is a new hotel and is beautifully furnished and decorated with lovely light and airy public areas

A beautiful and thoughtfully restored older house with original stone features. The view from the roof terrace is outstanding! As we visited in February, the room was a little chilly; the heating unit worked well to heat the mezzanine of our quadruple room, but not so effective on the bottom level. I stay in a few hotels & This is only based on my room (7). This is a very well presented hotel. Outstanding value for money. Amazing comfy bed nice fixtures & fittings. My only issues were that no matter how careful you are when showing the water gets all over the floor due to no shower screen so you have to mop up the floor with towels after (had baths the next two mornings) The other was the toilet sits too high I'm 5'11 and found that you cannot sit and relax!!! There was a fantastic view from the room, overlooking the sea and surrounding area. The furniture and room was all very modern and extremely clean. Everything was excellent.

We really enjoyed our week in the Kempinski. The junior suite was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom with bath and shower. Staff were friendly and attentive, lots of foreign students. The restaurants were a little expensive but that is the downside of 5* hotels! The pools worked well with 2 having lots of kids and one with almost none so this pool was quiet.

Fabulous hotel. Lady that checked us in was superb, what a welcome! Facilities were first class and we had an excellent sleep. Had lunch in the band club next door which was also great.

Excellent hotel, with great amenities, very friendly staff and great food. Hotel is located on the hill overlooking the port of Mgarr so is easy to catch the ferry to the mainland should you wish. The hotel offers a free mini bus service to Victoris, the capital of Gozo which is useful, however should you not wish to use this service, public transport is very reliable. A perfect place to escape the crowds and relax in a tranquil and beautiful environment. Being on top of a plateau near the beautiful white cliffs on the southern coast of Gozo gives breathtaking views of Gozo, Comino and Malta, as well as meaning there's always a cooling breeze. Really loved this hotel and all of its staff. Its location is great, a short walk away from restaurants and bars and the sea but in a quiet area of town with no noise disturbance. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to return! They even had pregnancy pillows available which I was pleased with!

No happy with one thing - the over fussy service. Somehow world standards don't fit in a chilled holiday resort. If a want a beer, I dont need to be shown to a seat by one person asked what I want by a 2nd and then wait to pay a 3rd. Spending 20 minutes having a 5 minute drink? No.
