"Payment was taken from my card the day before check-in with no prior warning. I had opted for 'pay at property' so it was a big surprise and I barely had enough money in my account for it as me and the other guests were going to split it when we arrived. "First class service from the moment we walked into the hotel. Lovely warm welcome from reception, couldn’t do enough for us . They gave us complimentary drinks vouchers and welcome cakes delivered to the room . It was my fathers 87 birthday and the even made him a beautiful birthday cake which he was so touched by . The waiting staff were excellent very attentive, food plentiful and delicious. Th e room was clean and comfortable "
