"Great hotel, staff were outstanding at going out the way to help even at the late hours of the night. I made use of the pool which overall was good however very busy even at first hours of pool opening. If I was to be really picky about my stay it would be the dust on the fan, as it’s coming to that time of year again (warmer weather) I actually had to use mine but it was quite dusty so they could have done with a wee clean especially with hay-fever and asthma it’s not gonna be the best. But apart from that I’d happily stay again."

"Nice hotel but getting a bit dated. Decor is old fashioned and showing signs of wear. Staff are very pleasant and helpful though and food is usually quite good. Breakfast choice was OK although serial was just boxes, no granola or dried fruit etc which is a little disappointing as I like to alternate the usual Bacon and eggs with a healthy choice from time to time."

"I was woken up by the sound of loud banging at 0800 on a Saturday morning; when I asked the front desk what the noise was, they told me renovations were taking place on the 2nd floor, and that they were taking place all day, everyday (including weekends). This information was not provided to us before, during, or after we checked in, and now the hotel is telling hotels.com that we did not speak to them about it (so they can avoid paying out any form of compensation). If I could leave them zero stars, I would."

"The house was nice, if a little run down, but comfortable. I enjoyed it BUT we never got our breakfast that I read so many people raving about. The owners just didnt apear to get out of bed and make the breakfast, and we stayed till checkout time, so not like we were to early. Sent a message to the owners asking what the go was, never heard back from them until this day."
