6. Converted Railway Wagon

Crickhowell

"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful . Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater . Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side. "

Top Gladestry Hotel Reviews

Green Dragon Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The Green Dragon is very near Hereford Cathedral, the River Wye and the City centre and about 16 minutes walk from the railway station. It is an old building that has been refurbished to provide a comfortable place to stay. There's a good choice of food available at breakfast too!"

The Riverside at Aymestrey

10/10 Excellent

"Outstanding, the food was exceptional and the service was fantastic. The accommodation was excellent, with some lovely little touches, homemade flapjack on the tea/coffee tray in the room, so nice. Fresh milk and water in the fridge, they even left a water bowl, towel, and poo bags for our dog. Can not recommend this place enough. If only everywhere took this much pride in what they do."

England's Gate and Coachhouse

10/10 Excellent

"The room was very clean and comfortable with a good size en-suite. The self-serve continental breakfast is always plentiful and fresh. The location is perfect for exploring the local area and the bonus is the pub with local cider and excellent food options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. This is our third visit so far this year and we will definitely be back."

The Burton Hotel and Cloud Nine

10/10 Excellent

"We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A lovely welcome. We had a room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was good, with a good menu choice. Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We would stay again if in Kington"
