The hotel is set in a historical palace, but has all the comforts of a modern five-star hotel. The staff are friendly and very attentive, they helped us several times with recommendations and ordering a taxi. "Great suite! Close to many restaurants, the canal, etc. We were up on the top floor and it was quite difficult to carry our luggage up/down three flights of stairs (this stay was at the end of a two week trip with teens). Other than that, it was very nice!"

"It's a small hotel, with only five rooms. It's in an interesting brick building. The proprietor, Daria, was really friendly and helpful. Our room looked like it was recently renovated. The main room was quite large and the bathroom was huge. The hotel is a five-minute walk from San Basilio vaporetto stop. We really like this hotel and would certainly recommend it."
