"We just wanted a couple of days of mostly rest and relaxation. The staff was excellent, the property is nice and repairs are being made after some neglect because of covid and state budget cuts. The dining at the restaurant came in above expectations. A full moon rising over Kentucky Lake was a plus. We arrived by private aircraft at the nearby airport. It is a nice airport."

"Old fashioned cabins where you're likely going to be next to another guest or family with just a wall between you, but very well kept and likely as clean as they can be for their age. The staff I'd dealt with was friendly and accommodating. My youngster was a bit uncertain at first because it was his first time at somewhere like this outside of church camp, but we had a great time and would recommend it to anyone who is comfortable with a cabin-style approach. If the wife is used to five star...
