I booked and paid for a 5 night stay. Upon arrival, the room furniture was filthy and stained. One of my pillow cases had visible dirt stains on it where it was leaning up against to very dirty upholstered pillows on the back of bed. I had to have housekeeping come in and replace the pillow cases (there was no replacement for the upholstered pillows). I also asked for additional sheets to throw over all furniture and cover the upholtered backing of the bed because it was filthy with dark and white stains all over it. ... The other issue was no a/c, and I arrived during a heat wave. The room was 90 degrees Farenheit. There was no ventilation in the entire large brick building. They offered a very small fan that simply blew the hot air around, but did nothing to cool it down. It had significantly cooled off at night, with morning temperatures at 63 degrees farenheit, however the room was still 90 degrees. It had not cooled down at all. So, I had no choice but to check out after one night and book into another hotel.
There were several other guests with the same issue and concerns. I asked the front desk about getting reimbursed for the remaining nights of my stay that I would not be using, and their response was to email management, but that another guest had just requested the same, and management denied it.
Management refused my request to refund the unused nights. ***Be aware, this hotel is dirty, grimy, and clearly has no regard for the conditions provided to guest.
