"We had a fantastic 2-night stay. Scarlett is a wonderful hostess, personable and does all she can to make sure guests feel welcome and appreciated.The A/C was fantastic as was the water pressure. Breakfast was so good and a great way to start the day. Happy hour included a delicious wine selection to start off your evening. I took off one star for comfort based on the bed mattress. We prefer something firmer. We will be back!"

"Very welcoming, small inn with accommodating staff. The included breakfast was excellent. However, being an historic building, expect a bit more extraneous noise from other rooms and staff. And those with mobility issues should call the hotel before booking. Most, if not all, rooms require climbing stairs. Parking can also be an issue, as the hotel has no parking lot and you must park along the street."

"This is a 5 star bnb as far as the house and staff go. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It is only a couple house from a major intersection and due to the age of the windows and home there is little to insulate from the loud cars and motorcycles. I would assume this is less of an issue with rooms on back of house and only a problem on Friday and Saturday nights for the most part. We’d love to come back but would skip a busy travel weekend. "

He was very informative of everything we needed to know about the property and the city, and the hotel's site he shared had tons of recommendations. The breakfasts were delightful, and so abundant that we skipped lunch most of the time. I cannot recommend the McMillan Inn strongly enough!"

"Stay was great. Was a little disappointed that our room was in the basement. The inn was not filled so would have loved to been upgraded to a room in the house. Also, the bathroom was tough. Our shower flooded our bathroom each day. Service was great, very friendly. "

"The front desk person, Abigail, was just the person I needed for my half marathon race weekend. My flight was delayed by hours and had to check in after hours. She left a bagel for me so I wouldn’t run on an empty stomach and was leaving the Inn at 6:30 am. I didn’t get back until 11:30 am and she messaged me asked me how the race went and shared space with me on everything.
