We had such a nice visit. We stayed 2 nights to visit our daughter at SUNY Geneseo. The inn owners couldn’t have been nicer. Room was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating. Our room was large for a B&B, had a gas fireplace, and had its own bathroom with a tub and shower. The only negative of our visit was something the owners had no control over -- overcast skies blocked our view of the 2024 solar eclipse.

Loved the hosts !!! The building's history and all the art work. Loved all the hidden nooks and hallways throughout the building. The breakfast was terrific - Definitely not your normal continental breakfast. The suite we had (Gopherwood) was cozy, very clean and quite.

Terrific comfort and atmosphere!
I have found a complete gem at Oak Valley Inn! I was there over night on a business trip, but can't wait to bring my friends with me for just a weekend retreat! My hosts were charring and lovely people and I felt welcomed and comfortable immediately. I highly recommend Oak Valley INN!!

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and decore of this old home. The breakfast were special gourmet breakfasts you won’t get anywhere else like a crispy French toast with special toppings. Owners were very nice and thankful we stayed there. My daughter goes to school at SUNY Geneseo, a 5 minute drive from Oak Valley Inn, and I will be staying here from now on for any visit! Beats any Hampton/Quality inn nearby.

Staying at Oak Valley Inn is like staying at a family's home. Marge and Jay are loving, caring and take a true interest in each of their customers. The breakfasts can't be beat! Each room has its own charm and uniqueness to it.

This is a historic building that is very well preserved and appointed. The owners are very personable and breakfast was amazing. What a hidden gem in the Gensee Valley!

A Perfect Weekend Away
We had a delightful weekend at the Oak Valley Inn. Margie and Jay are amazing hosts who truly go out of their way to make you comfortable. The inn is charming and spotless and is full of character. The homemade breakfasts were excellent, and there was always coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available as well as fresh fruit, granola bars, and chocolate chip cookies in case you craved a snack. Our room was well-appointed, warm and cozy, and exceptionally clean. Although it was our first visit, we felt right at home. Thank you, Margie and Jay, for a wonderful weekend! I had a really nice time at the Oak Valley Inn & Suites. The owners Marge and Jay were extremely friendly and informative. I was traveling solo and booked the inn last minute and was pleasantly surprised. Very nice and clean and the room was nice. There is a brew pub right next door that had live music, good beer and good food that made it fun. The inn served breakfast that was very nice (cooked by Jay). Overall they were very accommodating and made everyone feel at home.

We loved the charm of this property. We felt like home. They made cookies/muffins fresh. Breakfast was so good and unique. Sitting outside felt like we were in the country, but we weren't. They were very knowledgeable of the area, the history, things to do, and places to eat. This places also had unique things in the room.

I liked everything about my stay at Oak Valley Inn. It was charming, quiet, quaint, comfortable and safe. It was interesting! Artwork everywhere, a great place to dine on site for dinner. The owners are friendly, informative and I really enjoyed my stay. Also, it was very, very clean. I had the best sleep there of any place I have stayed at in quite awhile. I hope to go back someday.

If you like history you will love this place. It sits back in a quiet setting yet it’s close to everything in Geneseo. Margie, the owner knows a lot of the history, fun to talk with. Would definitely stay there again!

A unique B&B with a lot of interesting hustory. The grounds are lovely to walk and the nearby graveyard for the unclaimed former residents of this former poorhouse were fascinating. The brewpub next door was another plus and their is a dpa located conveniently next door. Lovely old buildings once housed the poor, insane or criminals. Letchworth Park is a 35 minute drive. The warplane museum is 10.
