"Fabulous staff, all very young and friendly also very helpful, keen to make you feel welcome. The rooms are gorgeous and clean. Quirky old building, up a few flights of stairs, it does have a lift which could use a bit of maintenance!. Definitely recommend."
"Rooftop was a perfect escape from the busy streets of Cairo
The cleanliness of the property was excellent
Facilities were tired in the bathroom; it needs some refurbishment
Sadly the area surrounding the hotel isn’t amazing, but I think that’s just because we didn’t like Cairo too much!
The location is really close to Tahir Sq and the Egyptian Museum, 30 min a taxi to pyramids
We overall had a good stay"
"Good new hotel all fixtures are brand new location perfect. All restaurant shopping walkable. Night time street is perfect joint for a shisha coffee & food. "
"The Hotel is situated in a newly renovated apartment, so extremely clean with new beds, bedding and spotless bathroom with a great shower. The fabulous breakfast was served in bed
The only problem is that there’s no proper window, as it’s closed shut"

"As always, this stay was such a treat. The property is lovely, expansive, and very central, with a large variety of dining options. I was in town for two nights before traveling to their Sharm property for a weeklong stay.
The real highlight of the stay is, unsurprisingly, the amazing staff. Our drop off and in-room check-in were well-coreographed and well-executed. The thoughtful touches from housekeeping are always delightful too (e.g., bookmarks in my books, a Four Seasons-branded cloth for my glasses, etc.). The concierge was magnificent and endlessly helpful. We mentioned in passing that my traveling companion had some stomach issues (the kind you dread getting abroad), and the concierge had the pharmacy deliver medicine for my friend, and later called the room to offer complimentary chicken soup and chamomile tea. The next night, we dined at Byblos, and the staff there were standouts too. My companion was still dealing with stomach issues and couldn't finish his dinner, so the manager took the plate off our check and gave my friend a complimentary pot of chamomile tea (all without being asked). Everyone knew or quickly memorized our names and every member of the staff was all smiles at all times. It was the same standard of excellence all across the board.
Overall another strong showing by the Four Seasons (most recently I spent a week at their property in Florence, if that's helpful context for my standard of comparison here). Thank you to the Nile Plaza team."
"We stayed at Mar Charbel for 7 nights while exploring Cairo. What an amazing gem, centrally located near so many museums, mosques, restaurants, & other historical sites. The rooftop pool & restaurant (chicken cordon bleu & cheesecake) were amazing. Front desk personnel (Michael, Oalfat, George) spoke very helpful English, took care of us & had a genuine smile everyday. There is posted security at the front door, who are very pleasant & friendly. Very safe area with a minimart & restaurant across the street. Huge delicious breakfast included with the stay (made to order omelets). We could walk the area easily or get an Uber quickly. Housekeeping staff (Selma was excellent) had coffee & water in the room daily with fresh towels and fresh made bed. Everything exceeded our expectations & we would return anytime. Thank you!"
