"We usually chose GQ for the quality price ratio. But this stay was much more expensive than the previous ones for the exact same accommodations. Not cool! In addition, two incidents happened: I witnessed a dog reliving himself in one of the elevators. To be frank, I have never seen so many dogs at once in a hotel before. Too many! What are the rules and protocols to ensure cleanliness and sanitation for all? Not to mention safety. And where is the staff to enforce them??? You operate with minimal staff. The second issue has to do with coming back to our room to find out that the cleaning staff had moved our belongings in what felt a bit intrusive. In the bathroom everything had been shoved to one side. My suitcase which had been left open on the suitcase stand was closed causing everything on one side to be tossed around unrestrained. On the desk, everything was moved and zipped up needlessly etc etc…it left the impression that someone had been searching through our belongings."

"Had an amazing stay with my daughter and she loved the heated pool!! Checking in was quick and staff was nice. Amenities were great and we loved dining in at Rope and Anchor downstairs. There was quite a checking out but they were efficient and attentive and we were able to leave without waiting the whole line. Definitely recommend , we had a great experience and will be back !"

"Check in staff was wonderful, and Matthew in particular was a wealth of information when we needed help the second night. And a delight to visit with. However, we tried to eat on the 19th floor the first night and service was very poor and the second day my room was never cleaned. Friendly staff, but a mixed bag on results. "

"Such a lovely place nestled into "The Gayborhood" of Philly and so close to the Ballet and our chosen restaurants for lunch and dinner. Staff was so friendly and the place clean and charming. Imagine being greeted by bird song as we woke up in the morning. Enjoyed the complimentary wine and cheese int he evening and we understood ther was soup in the afternoon and a breakfast as well. Not a modern, sleek hotel, but would recommend to anyone not looking fro glitz and glam. It had a kind of an old-world, only "insiders" know about this place charm!"

"Hotel smelled like weed, parking is 30 a night, had a biker “club” outside the whole weekend with their bikes in the sidewalk. They kept turning them at all hours of the night and revving the engines. I went to bed at 3:30am Saturday and heard them shortly before bed. Hotel staff seemed to do nothing about it. Breakfast was good though so that’s cool. Good hotel for a quick layover flight and that’s about it. Don’t spend a weekend here, you’ll get a better hotel for around the same price in center city."
