I can only echo what so many others have said—I had a fantastic stay at Arkamara Dijiwa Ubud as a solo traveler. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel incredibly welcome and well looked after. The property is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the perfect place to relax while still being a short trip from central Ubud. My room was comfortable, spotless, and had everything I needed for a restful stay. What really stood out was the genuine warmth and kindness of the staff. They made traveling alone feel effortless and helped make my time in Ubud even more special. The only negative in my opinion was the food. I had breakfast every day and one dinner at the restaurant, and nothing was wrong with it. However, nothing particularly stood out; it was just average. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone, especially solo travelers looking for a tranquil and welcoming retreat.

The hotel is about 20 minutes from Central Ubud, because of its location the views are amazing, especially from the pool and the restaurant. However the property is really dated. We had to request a room change as soon as we checked in because the room given to us had a strong smell of humidity and triggered my partner's allergies. The second room also had a lot of humidity smell but it was a little better than the first one. The bed was uncomfortable, everytime you move it makes noises from how old or is. There are a lot of mosquitos in the room, I think when they clean they leave open the balcony doors for a while to deal with the humidity but then you can't sleep even when you put the mosquito repellent. The showers need to be cleaned and the amenities especially the shampoo and body washed replenished before the next guests arrive. The service is average, when I raised some comments about the issues in the room, they just apologised but never took action to make it better. The pool view and public facilities were great and the only reason why I would ever go back.
