Clean rooms, kitchen facilities were good as we arrived on Christmas Day so nothing was open. Glad to be able to cook a meal for my family on this day. Hot tub was a lovely touch. The fridge was also very useful since we had a few items to chill. The proximity to the shark dive center is also very convenient. Definitely can recommend.

Lovely location, rooms and super welcoming and helpful owners and staff. We were unable to leave due to flooding in the area so had the pleasure of staying one more day.

Welcome drink on arrival was a very nice touch. The room was lovely the staff were very pleasant and efficient.

It was wonderful. From beginning to end the service was impeccable. The accommodation is lovely. The surroundings and settings are amazing.

watching whales from our balcony was a dream come true.

The room was spotless, great breakfast love host & views superb

Everything was immaculate. Welcoming hosts. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Whale watching from room was amazing and good sightings along the bay too. Room was beautiful and well equipped with thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend as a better alternative to staying in Hermanus.

Great location, lovely house, extremely friendly hosts!

Sensational penthouse room with views to match. Complimented by open plan style with Miami vibe type decor which was very cool Lots of amenities in the room as the overall accommodation is B&B style

This was a lovely property with a huge bed and beautiful views over the Atlantic. We stayed a single night in order to do a shark dive, it was ideally placed 1 km away from Great White Shark Tours and the host was very helpful

Fantastic gem of a place, loved staying here and would happily re book on another trip. Anel was extremely helpful and the stay added to the SA experience

A short but very sweet stopover for us at this lodge. The staff are beyond excellent and offered great service, activities and fabulous food. So glad we stayed and suggest you do too.

We received a warm welcome whereby Natasha showed us where to park, where to eat, the property and extras like mini bar and fruits. As it was Christmas Eve she also reminded us that places close early and that we needed a reservation for restaurants nearby. The rooms were clean and cosy with fluffy duvets and pillows. We had a great rest that night as well as enjoyed the chess board in the living room area in the evening. Breakfast was amazing as they had prepared a personalized note as well as...

Outstanding welcome from the owners. Fabulous location for the Cliff walk which was absolutely stunning. Little touches that made our stay special. Breakfast was amazing and the porridge was delicious! Off road safe parking👍 Our room was beautiful overlooking the mountains with a large veranda. More like a 5 star suite. Gorgeous room scents! Cant recommend highly enough. We loved Hermanus & the Whale on Main❤️

Lovely staff, good breakfast, very comfortable room.

Abalone Guest House is great. Excellent welcome and hospitality. Good location overlooking the ocean towards Voelklip about 5k to the east of Hermanus.

Really fun place. Nice location not far from Hermanus. Good sized rooms with decent facilities. Friendly owners
