Gansbaai is a fishing town and a popular spot for cage diving with great white sharks. The crystal clear water and rocky coastline make for excellent snorkeling and scuba diving, as well.
A large flock of Cape Cormorants flying near the boat on a whale watching trip in Gansbaai. Southern Right Wales can be seen in the area between June and December.

Zebra and Eland wild on the property. This was by far my Favorite hotel on our 2 week stay in South Africa from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. Most beautiful views and the greatest staff! We ate dinner there and it was Amazing! This is a 5 star hotel! I would definitely stay here again!

It is a very nice location. Overall, value for money stay. The price is amazing for the stay of 3 with 2 separate rooms. It made a lot more convenient. Taps felt little old as the hot water was not convenient. And stove was just 2 burners and small grill, small toaster. There was no towel hanging ...

Room was clean with enough space and everything we needed, including laundry lines, for a good stay, but it was a little musty when we arrived and needed to be aired out. The host helped us find some great hikes in the area.
