"Really lovely and historic hotel in downtown Gangtok. The hotel feels like a living museum with the art, artifacts, and architecture. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Overall, a lovely stay. "

"Hotel was good and reception was very good. However I noticed two things that could be improved. We stayed for a couple of nights. The bed was very soft and was giving a back ache. It would be good for one night stays but for longer stays, the beds are soft. Second was the bathrooms didn’t have floor towels or mats. After the shower the bathroom floor gets wet and has high probability of slipperiness. Not good for old people. "

"A very warm welcoming hotel.good food.Neat & Clean.However we were sold rooms with a Bathtub & the Room didn't have one.But the Staff Hospitality more than made up for it.We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights."

"The room had a very good view of the mountain and the helipad. It as bit far from MG Road, but you get shared cabs to and fro to MG Marg for 40/- per person. Breakfast was very good and tasty. Aftab and all the staff were very courteous and polite and they made our stay very memorable. Thanks to the entire staff of Four Square"

"This is absolutely not a 4 star hotel. Despite upgrading to an “executive room” the room was not clean, damaged, bugs, no lights in hallway, no decor except a bowl of dirty red water, very cold with no heat options, cable not working, construction starting in near room at 7am on Sunday. This hotel is run down and lacking any ambiance. Orbitz / Kayak should immediately downgrade this hotel from 4 to 3 or 2 stars as 4 stars is totally misleading."
