amazing location and well equipped with a washing machine was nice touch. Fire alarm going off at 4am for about 20 mins was less fun.

The gentleman at the front was sociable and helpful at check in. The apartment was Clean. Downside, one towel. Even being by myself I appreciate having the option of needed to have an extra towel without having to ask for it. Also club across the way goes until 3:30 with loud music. Then no security so other guests can be as loud as they want with out repercussions. They were yelling and breaking bottle until 4:30am. Did not get very much sleep.

Comfy beds, lots of space, near the Latin quarter. Only issue is that the WiFi only worked in the courtyard, not in the apartment. Notified the office after check in but it wasn't fixed during our 3 day stay. Upon checkout, we found out that the issue wasn't logged.

Party place!

Stayed here for 1 might with a friend as we had a function in a local bar. We had to pay €200 deposit on top of the apartment rate. There was a loud all -night/morning party in the apartment lock, we got no sleep. Would not stay here again.

Happy to recommend!

Communication with apt booking very good. The member of staff we met re the key was so helpful and pleasant. Location excellent. . Entrance to apt from street is a little off-putting otherwise everything was superb.

The location and the conditions of the apartment were good. In the other hand, the reservation said it included daily housekeeping but no service was provided.

The pictures tell a very different story than reality. You have to check in at a casino and then walk 50m, enter a code into a gate, walk down an alleyway, enter another code and walk up a long flight of dark stairs. Granted, automatic lights pop on as you go, but it was terrifying. After I went to the room, I was so disturbed that I chose to forfeit my money and leave. I did not feel safe here at all. The person working at the front desk of the shady casino was very friendly though and did promise me that there had never been any 'incidents' previously.

Great but Noisy

The apartments are very nice but located just off a busy partying street with noise all night. I was fortunate with apartment that it was back furthest but there are others directly over the street. Great for party groups - hens etc but not for a family

Excellent location, very clean, very comfortable

If you're looking for a place that is in the heart of the Galway city, this is the place. It's very clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and helpful. Just make sure you're aware that you need to check in at Four Aces Casino first.

The apartment was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. While the location is very central, to gain access you have to go down a laneway and it is in the middle of a busy street where pubs gave live music most nights, so it can get noisy. These apartments are very suitable for night owls but not a great location for children.

Secret Oasis in Galway's Pub District

The location was awesome! In the middle of fabulous dining, pubbing, music and shipping - and yet, as soon as you slip through the Dominic's secret, key-code secured gate you are in a peaceful setting with a lovely courtyard and fantastic apartments. Each has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great beds, full kitchen. I can't say enough about this gem of a place!

Very noisy and bright.

The web site does not tell you that the apartments are above a Casino, and a sex shop and directly across from a pub and an exotic dance bar. These pub played live music and both did not shut down until 5 am in the morning. The patrons were then kicked out on the street and continued partying until 6 - 6:30 am. Every night was the same. My room faced the street.

Tidy, Clean, Convenient

We only stayed one night in Galway and were traveling with another couple. The apartment was easy to find, check in was at the 4 Aces Casino. The apartment is newly and fully furnished from Ikea so everything is clean, neat and tidy. The apartment was perfect for 2 couples. There was one one negative about our stay. Between 2-3am a bunch of party goers passing through the apartment's alley and were VERY loud (screaming, yelling, laughing) and woke us all up. Not really the apartment's fault. One additional nice thing about this apartment is the washer/dryer. We chose to stay at this apartment midway through our Ireland vacation so we'd be able to do our laundry.

Sauber und Modern, aber sehr laut in der Nacht

POSITIV: Das Apartment was tip top sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet, alles sah sehr neu aus und modern. Die Betten waren bequem und sauber. Es gab genügend Shampoo/Duschgel und Handtücher. In der Küche hatten wir alles notwendige zum Kochen, auch neue Pfannen und Töpfe, selbstverständlich alles Geschirr und Besteck vorhanden. Zimmerreinigung war auf Wunsch täglich kostenlos möglich. Die Schlüsselabholung im 'Casino' war ungewöhnlich aber die Dame war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. NEGATIV: Die Apartments liegen über einer Straße mit vielen Bars/Discos und Nachtclubs. Von Donnerstag bis Samstag Nacht geht es bis 4 oder 6h Morgens laut her, da sich die Gäste auf der Straße unterhalten, oder im Innenhof der Apartments weiter gefeiert wird. Ausserdem fällt die Haupttüre (gesichert mit zwei Sicherheitscodes) so laut ins Schloss das man Nachts immer aufwacht. Wir hatten uns ab dem zweiten Tag Ohrstöpsel gekauft und die Fenster mit Papiertüten beklebt, da das Flutlicht über der Gasse alle paar Minuten angeschaltet wurde und das Zimmer trotz Jalousien hell ist wie am Tag. FAZIT: für Party und Nachtschwärmer optimal geeignet, aber ansonsten muss man den Lärm aushalten können.

Great for easy-going folks.

The check-in process was odd. I went to the restaurant next door for guidance. It turns out that you check in at the Casino four doors down. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating, though not available between 11pm and 10am, the hours within which we lost electricity to our outlets each night. (Ie, no fridge, washing machine, lamps, charging ability, TV, computer, hot water.) They repaired the issue on day 3. The room was great for family because of it's size. It is VERY noisy each night until about 3AM. I am a light sleeper. This was a real challenge for me. My husband and child slept fine. It may also be worth noting for some that the apartments are next to an adult shop and across the street from a "gentleman's club." This did not concern us. (Our child is too young to need explanation and we didn't see much activity at either business.) The neighborhood seemed safe enough and the security to the apartments is excellent. The rooms are newly furnished and quite clean. The beds are comfortable. The location is very convenient for walking. On-street parking or nearby underground parking is available. Despite the downsides, we might stay there again. The staff were great, the rooms great (after some needed electrical repair), the location convenient, and the noise was tolerable with ear muffs.

Très bien, mais bruyant.

Peu de choses à dire concernant l'appartement en lui-même qui était très bien. L'appartement est difficile à trouver la première fois (le check-in se fair au casino!)mais est très bien situé. Par contre qui dit appartement en centre ville d'une ville universitaire animée dit bruit. C'était vraiment très bruyant, jusqu'à 5 ou 6h du matin, mais ce n'est pas lié à l'hôtel en soi.

Very well located

Galway was great and the apartment was the best place we stayed during the trip...too bad we didn't find that place the first night. Bars and restaurants all around...excellent location.
