Roaches in room. Bedbugs in another room they tried to give me. Noisey people! Horns honking in the parking lot. Freeway noise, homeless people hanging out. People smoking in front of my door. The girl at the desk was nice , but could not fix the issues.

The staff was wonderful! The room was clean and the parking was easy and convenient. It's right off the highway so it's a little noisy if you go outside but other than that I loved it!

I requested an accessible room and none were available. We had to be on the 2nd floor. Glad my mom can climb some stairs or we would have had to make other accommodations. The check in employee was helpful and apologized for the inconvenience.

No coffee pot in the room no microwave phone did not work no water pressure hot water took 7 minutes to get hot only one ice machine at the office and you had to walk a block to get to it towels were left on the bed and I put up in the bathroom I would not recommend this place to anybody no internet no swimming pool bad access to highway on a scale of 1 to 10 this would be a minus five USB ports did not work I'm 68 years old and I have never been a hotel that was this bad

looked like a crack house we saw homeless in the parking lot , the motel was right off the freeway , we called expedia and canceled this is mot the motel 6 on the sea wall this is the motel off of j ave but we booked the one on the sea wall we were catfish was scary and we felt uncomfortable and unsafe

It seems a remodel is in the process. Our room was mostly redone & was on it's way to being nice. The fan in the bathroom was very loud & other patrons were as well.There was an employee smoking on the staircase leading to our room so that was unpleasant. The lady that took care of this morning was so sweet! Others patrons checking in last night had no water in their room & were set up in another room thank goodness!

If you want to save a dollar it's all well and fine but sacrifices will be made. They do have a roach problem and in a very noisy location. The outside is clean and presentable. Room was clean but after getting comfortable and noticed roaches running around my room. Nothing as far as amenities within walking distance

The Motel 6 Galveston, TX was a nice place to spend the night. There are not a lot of frills, but that is not needed for just a convent one or two nights stay. As well, I noticed a few maintenance issues on the exterior, but the the next morning someone was addressing them. In addition, there are many dining options near by, along with the beach. You cannot beat the price, and its location was great for access to island.

Property is next to a lumber yard. The yard starts early and the forklifts make a lot of noise with their back up horns blasting all the time. Don't plan on sleeping in late!
