"Overall, for the price per night plus pet deposit was very good. 2 beds in separated sections of the suite. Plus a satisfactory central room. Very Nice bathroom plus separate sink area. The kitchenette was nice except for the dirty stovetop, but we did not need that. The only other minor complaint was the sort of "musty" smell from the a/c unit. The whole building etc is non-smoking/non-vaping which is great. A good location, if you wish to stay away from the trendy oceanfront; not to mention if there is ever an all-age curfew. "

"I was unable to connect with wifi. After getting wet in the shower, I reached for the pump soap container attached to the shower wall. It was empty. At check-in the desk clerk was behind a thick plastic shield. I struggled to hear him or communicate with him. "

"Had to change rooms twice. Both rooms were filthy. Dirt all over the floor and counters. It looked like someone cleaned the fridge and microwave with fur instead of a rag. Horrible place and the guy at the front desk although understanding seemed like he’d rather be playing on his phone than to help me. "

"We were assigned from 314. My son was in 312. We turned off our nightlight and turned it back on and lost all the power on 1/2 of the room the night Desk person had no clue how to handle things and was extreme in his gestures when he got frustrated. Eventually, after about 45 minutes, he moved us to room 310. My son was in 312 and they had trash and other items all over the room like it hadn’t been cleaned. We were definitely displeased with our stay and disappointed as we usually can rely on the La Quinta name. Checking out we mentioned the electrical issue to the front desk staff and there was no note made of it anywhere by the previous night staff. It’s concerning that there’s an electrical issue that was not investigated and that could be a extreme safety issue."
