"It's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay."

"We had a very nice stay at Oceanfront, the room was self contained, everything we needed, bedding and towels good. Nice location, almost on the beach, with good beach walks. Slightly out of town, which isn’t a problem as the Tuk Tuks are very cheap, and nice to be remote from the busy centre. Very nice staff, good contact and service, nice place-and they serve beer! "

Nicely tucked away near the entrance of the fort and behind the main streets so away from most of the hustle and noise, though still central to the main Fort attractions. "The staff are great! However, the hotel is lacking in some basics, especially considering the high price they charge. For example: no coffee in the room (although advertised), stains on sofa, no kleenex, no holder for toilet paper. Lighting in my room was wholly inadequate, I had to use my cell phone's flashlight to read something on the desk - this was during the day!"
