Overall had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend! "

"Pros: - Hotel personal is welcoming and friendly. - Beach is amazing. The best on in Hikkaduwa. If you enjoy swimming, you will love it. - View from the room is perfect. But you have to book the Premium Ocean View Cons: - Towels are not as clean as you would like them to be - Be aware of bugs in room - Cleaning stuff do not wipe floor and have to be reminded to change towels. "

"Location and overall appeal of the hotel is great. Some staff are really good and helpful. Most are courteous but the language barrier makes it super hard at times. Front desk was the worst and there was a huge gap in requests made to them and getting those executed by the staff. Cleanliness needs a WHOLE LOT to be improved on. In every room and every aspect of bathrooms. "

"Overall very nice ocean front facility, rooms are clean, older but comfortable. AC works well. Staff though not very well trained are trying their best to be helful. Food is good, lots of chices and close to authentic. Difficulty road to get to the hotel, then this is normal for Sri Lankan hotel outside of Colombo. "

"The location is awesome. The rooms are well designed and at a high quality standard (e.g. marble tiles in the bathroom. Bidet..) Bungalow with sea view - unbeatable. The location is not directly at the beach, but at an elevated location inside a forest area. So the view is incredible and super quiet. No street noise or smoke. Instead one can enjoy nature sound, birds, butterflies, some monekys climbing the trees and sometimes leguans and view at the sea the same time.The staff is very friendly....

"It’s a convenient distance from unawatuna beach and Galle fort. If you’re only down south for a weekend, or for your first time I highly recommend. Excellent service, great breakfast, calm and pleasant private beach. Beautiful sunsets. "

"We had an amazing time at Jungle Village with such a lovely warm and friendly welcome from all the staff. The property is simply stunning - a real jungle scene with birds and monkeys all around. Our room was large and spacious with glass all the way round for excellent views and we had our own balcony too. It’s a short tuk tuk ride from Unawatuna beach or a walk to jungle beach if you prefer something a little quieter. The owners clearly have a passion and vision for what they are trying to...

"My wife and I had the most amazing experience in this hotel. From the staff, the food, the cocktails, the amenities, everything was splendid. They really do go the extra mile to make your trip wonderful. Kudos to Ronald and team for making our stay great. "Let's just say, I will definitely return. Clean, design like, minimal hotel. Private access to one of the best beaches in the South. Staff are friendly and the place feels homely. Easy access to local beach bars, restaurants, the train station, etc. Walk, tuk tuk, book a car via the hotel. If you are looking to relax on a quiet elegant property, solo or with partner, take it day by day, with amazing views, I recommend the Sandhya. Thank you. Frances (British)"

"Great location far enough away from Mirissa. Peaceful and welcoming staff. Difficult to find a spot to swim in the ocean but possible to take a dip. Hotel pool wasn’t cleaned early enough for us to swim one morning (not open until after 8). Sri Lankan brekkie available as well as eggs and Gandon’s style, serving sizes were very generous. "

"Thambilli House was just terrific, rooms, staff, open areas, pool and location ideal for a Galle Fort visit. This was our 3rd stay at The Fort and by far the best accommodation so far. Only surprise was that the room did not have a bar fridge, quite unusual from our perspective."

Det är ett nedgånget och slitet hotell där rummet vi fick hade stått oanvänt i månader. Vi fick be dem komma och ta bort spindel och spindelnät från sängen och att städa hela badrummet. Utomhus ser det ut som hotellet inte varit omskött på flera år. Dock får man ge den lilla poolen ett plus i kanten."
