"We managed to get early check in which made our stay much easier than originally planned. Maisy on reception was excellent, she has great customer service skills and had genuine interest in our travel plans which set our stay up so she needs the recognition for that. Our room was a cosy double but it was great and everything we needed for a one night stay. It's the perfect distance between Edinburgh Waverley and Murrayfield and right opposite Haymarket station which meant travelling between the two was easy. The only downsides was that our window had been screwed shut so there wasn't any fresh air circulating around our room, the air-conditioning wouldn't go lower than 21 degrees and the shower wasn't particularly clean with dust and hair across the silicone around the shower and someones hair stuck to the shower wall. Overall though, it wasn't too bad and a quick wipe around made it more comfortable."
