#LifeAtExpedia Awesome town with a pedestrianized main road full of hand craft ateliers, souvenir shops, little caffes and plenty of old school treats #Tryavna
If you're wondering what's the white and red decoration, it's Martenitsa! It represents the Bulgarian holiday Baba Marta(Granny March) which celebrates the beginning of spring and the end of cold winter! Starting from 1st of March we exchange martenitsi which symbolise health, luck and happiness! And most importantly- the winter is over (sorry Game of Thrones)! Are you familiar with the holiday?
My favourite view in Tryavna- the clock tower and the humpback bridge.
