"Nice location on the beach. Room was nice, perhaps getting somewhat aged but that was reflected by the price. A bit longer walk in to Makkum itself, but doable and safe. We picked it for the water view and easy access to laundry facilities, right nearby, for the midpoint of our trip."

Plus making the beds were a challenge due to constricted room above me. Certainly weather proof as there was a lot of strong winds and rain. Perfect position but next time I will make sure of cabin type "

"This hotel is located in an area where parking on the streets of the town is required and parking machines don't accept foreign (american) cards. There is also an app that can be loaded onto a US based iphone... Team member confirmed that they would refund since I had to find a different hotel but until now I haven't received a refund (one week has passed)"
