"Great place to stay if you want to be central. Ten mins walk from station and located down at the harbour with bars and restaurants close by. The staff were friendly and helpful. And it was very well priced."

"Stayed here for a mid week break. We were attracted by the free car parking in city centre, which was very convenient. Room was spacious with air conditioning. They also had a water cooler in the corridor which was a god-send in this warm weather. There were a couple of minor shortcomings- chair in room had a large stain on seat, false economy using such cheap toilet paper . Also the WiFi was slow which meant it was difficult to hold virtual meetings since kept freezing and impossible to stream any movies. However overall we were pleased and would use again."

"Original room smelled like faeces and I was already running late for a function so asked for a new room. The lady at the desk insisted that no one would be free for the next 2 hours to deliver our new room key and insisted we come down for the key. Did we make the room smell like faeces? Was there any attempt to make our stay feel better after that experience. I’m not sure who she was but she was very rude on the phone, didn’t say bye and hung up on me. Won’t be staying here again. I’m a doctor who goes above and beyond for patients at work, you’d think when I have time off, someone working is hospitality would be hospitable in return. Never again."

"This hotel claims to be 4 star. At best it is 2 star. Old rooms with poor facilities. Dreadfully slow service and poor food. And on this occasion, air conditioning that did not work - a minor detail that they did not tell me about when checking in. I am not sure you star ranks these hotels, but they need to have some training. Shocking."

"The most noteworthy is the location! It's very central to all the sights and quite buzzing area. We had a wonderful stay and the breakfast was just amazing. The staff is very polite and helpful. Would love to recommend to everyone looking for comfortable clean rooms and central location."
