We had a lovely 2-night stay here in this character property conveniently tucked away from a main road. We had a comfortable triple room and what we really liked about the set-up was there was a small wall divider, so compartmentalising the room in some way; it was also useful to have a small fridge and the a/c was very welcome too. Nice is lively and bursting with personality and this Hotel provides a great location for exploring it all. You are walking distance from the vibrant Promenade and Beach. (5 mins) Equally good for the station where we took a day trip to Monaco during our stay. The atmospheric Old Town is a little further but still only about a 10 minute walk away. Location was fantastic - right on the edge of the vibrant old town this is the place to be , for food , atmosphere and enjoyment. Facilities in apartment were fabulous - definitely upgrade and get a view of Place Massena Square Property lacked basic guide for example no information on Nice , no emergency contact details no fire exit procedure . but that is definitely the only negative about this property . Excellent hotel with very helpful staff! Great location for going into town and great location if you enjoy playing golf! Great spa with excellent choice of treatments! The rooms are great, good bed and very quiet! Great pool and the breakfast has loads of choice, very good! The only down thing is the bugs, mosquitoes. I would be good if the hotel puts a bug diffuser so they don’t bite in the night! As my husband and I have been bitten to death!

What a beautiful stay I’ve had. Everything was perfect. Advice for uk travellers, there are no tea making facilities in the room (in mine there wasn’t) but there is downstairs near reception. It was a 3pm check in but you can leave your bags with reception prior to this time. Breakfast was very nice with large choice of continental items, unlimited! All staff are a credit to the ibis brand. Will definitely stay again.

We thought this was such a great hotel for its reasonableness in price and everything it had to offer, quite the little find we thought! We arrived by train, St-Laurent-du-var station was only 5-10min walk to hotel. Hotel is literally across the road from the brilliant CAP3000 shopping mall, which in 30+ temperatures was a relief to have next door with Great shops, restaurants. We got 12+ buses easily into Nice, stop is just 3mins walk, from outside mall, cost €7 for day pass. Took about 20mins...

I can't sing their praises enough. If you want mad excitement, this isn't your kind of place.
