Bad experience

The building is old and in the process of gradually renovating it’s floors and rooms. There is no elevator and we had to carry our luggage to the 2nd flood without any help. We did the check-in with a cleaning lady and never saw someone from the hotel at the reception desk. Neither the room nor the bathroom has any heating as written on the website- heaters are installed in both rooms but not working. Instead, they put a portable heater in our room which of course didn’t manage to warm up our room and it was too cold. In order to warm up the bathroom, we had to have hot water running and the hair dryer working! The room also has a strong smell probably due to the old floor. We ended up going to the hotel only to sleep as the general feeling was not pleasant at all.

the hotel is further than expected. but, it is more than compensated by the low price, cleanliness and adequate staff. transfer, which is offered from the hotel at an adequate price, lower than the cost of a taxi. this is important (especially when arriving at night). Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt, die Zimmer sind praktisch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und das Restaurant strahlt etwas Uriges aus. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Letztlich punktet das Hotel durch die gute Lage am Markt.

Ich habe ein Zimmer im Dachgeschoss erhalten, die Wärme war unerträglich. Im Badezimmer wurde der Duschvorhang mittels Klebeband befestigt, die Toilettenbrille war kaputt und hinter der Toilette war eine Hebeanlage verbaut, die sehr laut war. Meine Mitarbeiter hatten wohl ein renoviertes Doppelzimmer, dieses war in Ordnung, jedoch die Sauberkeit war auch nicht super. Gerne sende ich Fotos von meinem Zimmer.

One Night Stand

Die Rezeption befindet sich im Lokal und ist nur zu dessen Öffnungszeiten besetzt. Will man zwischen 14 und 17 Uhr einchecken, muss man klingeln oder anrufen. Empfang war aber dann sehr freundlich. Das Einzelzimmer war sehr klein, aber funktional und abgesehen von älteren Flecken im Teppich auch sauber. Sehr störend der penetrante und unangenehme Geruch, der definitiv nicht von Tabakwaren stammte. Alle Zimmer in den Obergeschossen; kein Lift. Das Restaurant ist für den "einfachen Griechen um die Ecke" relativ teuer - nebenan gibt es einen ordentlichen und günstigen Italiener. Sonst ist kulinarisch nicht viel geboten außer allen möglichen To-go-Läden. Fazit: Sehr einfach, aber für eine Nacht noch ok, wenn man die Messepreise in Frankfurt nicht zahlen will. Durch nahe S-Bahn gute Verbindung nach Frankfurt (Flughafen, Innenstadt, Messe).

Good bargain choice for overnight between flights

Room is small but modern, efficient and clean. Nice big bathroom with shower. Perfect for budget overnighting between connecting flights at Frankfurt airport. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Its an easy 7 minute walk from Russelheim train station with about a 3 Euro fare to or from the airport. The small room will bother some, and is the only reason I gave slightly lower score for the room comfort. Bed was firm and comfortable. The amenities at this hotel are few, just the rooms and restaurant, hence the lower score on that front.

Schönes Hotel, äußerst nette Betreiberfamilie

Wir brauchten ein Doppelzimmer wegen einer Hochzeitseinladung. Gesucht - gefunden. Äußerst freundlicher Check-Inn, super nette Betreiberfamilie, klasse Service und Hilfe bei der Frage nach einem späteren Check-Out, modern und freundlich eingerichtetes Zimmer, sehr sauber. Haben uns pudelwohl und super betreut gefühlt. Jederzeit wieder! Weiter so!
