The hotel is located in a nice, safe, walkable area. There are several restaurants, bakery, coffee shops, and more Within a five block range. The downtown area is easily accessible. Pick up from the hotel for tours is easy. The hotel staff is amazing! Their professionalism and service is appreciated. The facilities are very clean, and the concierge staff is helpful. The rooms are clean and in good condition, with a safe and TV as well as A/C and heat. We visited during the winter and so did not use the pool, but it looks very nice. The only thing to mention for those of us who live in warmer climates is that it can be very cool in the lobby and first floor during the winter months because it is open to the outside pool area. In fact, remember that southern Brazil has winter temperatures! Prepare by bringing a coat! If you forget, don't worry, the hotel gift shop has a nice selection, in fact my friend bought one there!
