"Me and my partner had a wonderful stay at the old garage, very clean very homely and very modern, everything you could need for a break away, we did find the bed a little on the hard side but everyone has different comfort level with that, shower was amazing, host was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed on arrival, would definitely stay again if we were in the area! "Perfect for a city break. The rooms and communal areas are clean and modern. Breakfast is fresh and there's lots of choice. Some people said there is no bacon at breakfast, but that's incorrect – as of October 2025, there *is* bacon at breakfast. Location is excellent, just a short walk from the train station and city centre. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of car parking, but that's due to its central location so can't do much about that! I used JustPark to get parking nearby."
