"Ideal location staff very helpful nice stay"

"Room decor is a bit dated, bathrooms in particular. Breakfast wasn't great really seeing as it's an expensive 4 star hotel. "

"We stayed in a twin room and the beds were very soft and uncomfortable. The towels were thin and scratchy. The skeleton key to our room made it very hard to open the room. The bathroom sink drained slow, the shower door kept going off its rail and the hot water took awhile to heat up (although there was a note about it in the room). Nice enough place but it didn’t work well for us. Thank goodness we only reserved one night."

"The staff was pleasant and made you feel welcome and comfortable. To reach the room on the second floor , we had to walk down a flight of stairs to access our room as a result of the hotel being old. Overall I would recommend this hotel to family and friends because of the staff and comfort of the rooms and close proximity to shops, cafes and museums."

"Offered upgrade to apartment. Nice to have extra space. Along street from hotel itself. Restaurant is run separate from hotel so must be booked separately. Staff very helpful. Particilarly Laura on reception."
