Room was cute and spacious. I like how it’s in a bigger home. We put our stuff in a shared fridge. Backyard was beautiful with views of the mountain. I highly recommend this place! My new go to when I visit!

An amazing place! Our room was clean and spacious. They have a beautiful common lobby and kitchen where you can hangout and interact with other guests. The fridge had a basket for every room, so you can store your perishable food items, very convenient and thoughtful! And as the name suggests, there is a mountain right behind the property. We saw Aoudads, mule deer and a roadrunner. The road leading to the inn from the main street is a bit rough, but driving slow takes care of it. Overall, this is a highly recommended place to stay if you're visiting Fort Davis!

This is such a quaint place to stay. The rooms were nice and the setup was perfect. The back side backs up to the Fort Davis Mountains and the seating area in back is perfect. Everything was clean and it felt more like a B&B. I highly recommend staying. It is also centrally located to visit McDonald Observatory, Big Bend, Alpine and Marfa!

This is a really cute spot! It’s at the base of some of the mountains. The road in is a little rough, so just go slow. The check in is automated but the staff communicates well thru email, text. The room is clean, spacious, and the open shared spaces are nice

Great place to stay

This was our first visit to Ft. Davis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountainside Inn. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the beds were very good. The inn is in a great location to access the national park as well as the downtown area. We will stay there again.

Fort Davis getaway

Comfortable room, nice amenities, great staff. Floor of the room had a few small rocks and goat head stickers which were uncomfortable.
