It did have a fireplace which was not needed for our stay but fall hit soon after we left. There was not a kitchen but did have a mini fridge and microwave. We spent time at Fort Davis National Historic Site, Balmorhea State Park, actually saw the Marfa lights, and the McDonald Observatory. Definitely recommend!"
