However, the room itself had mold on the shower door and some type of allergen in the bed sheets as my wife got sick after the one night stay. "Palace Catania is an excellent place to stay. Our check-in experience was outstanding, largely due to the front desk attendant named Annalaura. Her professionalism, courteousness, and cheerfulness made the entire process pleasant and expedient. Fluent in English, she was more than happy to assist us in any way possible to make our stay a pleasant one. Additionally, the remaining staff, particularly in the breakfast service area, were also warm, friendly, and attentive - and the pastries were delicious too! Finally, the room was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful balcony view."
