"The staff was very friendly and work as a team to make the guests feel comfortable and welcomed. During the kickback hour I noticed what I think was a manager seeing something that needs to be done and did it himself and not calling a subordinate to do it. To me it showed nothing is beneath him to do the work."

"Americana is a cute, quirky little property. It has funky outdoor services to enjoy. There are even fire pits and hammocks. The lobby is retro sheik and funky. There are bikes and a telescope. The room was comfortable and the disco ball was an unexpected treat. The only negative we found was morning breakfast. The morning we were there was very rainy so it was not conducive to sitting outside. Unfortunately, the lobby was dark and the doors were locked. We had to take breakfast to our room which was a standard double. The lobby had a nice table with chairs, so access would have created a much more comfortable breakfast experience."
