"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "

I had easy access into downtown as well as not having to fight traffic to get out of town to the countryside. Staff were quick to respond to any questions or requests I had. "I liked the location since it is very close to Reykjavík and the airport. We were a big group and there was ample parking for our van . Loved the free breakfast every morning. Staff were courteous and very helpful with all our questions. Overall, great hotel with a great price. "
