"The king suite was spacious, comfortable, and dark/quiet at night. Super clean. Fridge and water kettle with extra counter and sink made basic food prep easy. Good Wifi and smart TV. Easy to walk to town and Milford Sound day cruise departures. Great tourist advice. Parking fine. Do understand that our spacious room is not the same for all. A peek into another showed a much more compact arrangement. Breakfast was a cereal, white toast/jam, and yogurt operation, but we supplemented in the romm to meet our tastes. Extras - like omelets - were available for extra $."

"Great choice for the Milford sound run. My room was recently renovated and much nicer than the photos on hotels.com. RVs stay here too, several were close to the second bedroom window. Fortunately considerably quiet. Owner Mike was super friendly and helpful with local tips. "

"Our room had the quietest door between ensuite and bedroom that I have ever encountered. It was great as I am a night riser. They kindly made up our room each day, but without making the beds. It was great being within walking distance of eateries/town."

Strange smell in toilet/shower area.Wooden veranda in front of the rooms made it sound like a herd of elephants were running passed. If you wanted to fill the jug to make a drink, the only place was hand basin in the bathroom."
