"I can't imagine anywhere else I'd rather stay in Eureka, CA. So close to everything that I'd want to experience or see in this wonderful town. All 3 nights were perfect for us, our host was delightful and the ambiance inside was breathtaking. We were in town to see the Redwood Forest to the North and South from here, and it was such a welcome contrast and definitely added to our romantic getaway. The next time we visit the Redwood Forest, this will be our first option for our stay!"

"Our room had a smoke smell as soon as we opened the door... Probably dirty carpet smell. Then, the toilet has a hair on it. So, I cleaned that. No Air conditioning at all. You have to open a window and bring your own fan. The ceiling in the bathroom has mold spots. Did I mention, NO AIR CONDITIONING? The lobby has character with paintings of famous people that stayed here in the 60s, 70s, 80s... Continental breakfast of muffins was 630 -9 am. We opted for McDonald's. I would not stay here again. "
