"This was my family's first time staying in the area for a concert at Metlife. After our terrific experience, we will stay here every time, not only for the convenience, but also for the friendly staff, clean rooms, and great breakfast after a late night. I do not understand the complaints about the shuttle system to Redd's to catch a bus to the stadium. Redd's runs a family friendly "tailgate" party which is a great way to start an event. Buses run often. We had no wait getting to Redd's and only a five minute wait after the sold out show. The drivers were friendly. Cost is $10 a person. I thought it added even more fun to the experience.
Check in was simple. Instructions regarding the shuttle were well explained and staff was receptive to all questions despite a very busy hotel. Room was large and clean. Water pressure in the bathroom was fantastic. Breakfast buffet was extensive and regularly replenished.
Yes, we paid a premium price- but I am ok with that based upon the convenience and services provided for concert/event go'ers- especially those traveling with children. "
"We absolutely loved our stay at the Night Hotel. It’s the perfect budget hotel in the Upper West Side, and the staff are incredibly nice. (Not to mention the music that plays in the lobby is great!). It’s located at the perfect spot if you’re trying to get around NYC since it’s incredibly close to the Red Line train (96th). There are tons of comments on this hotel due to it being outdated, but are you really coming to NYC to hang out in the hotel all day? The beds are clean, housekeeping comes daily, the staff is so nice (and one of them apparently makes some great cheesecake I’d love to try one day 😉), and it’s conveniently located! If we come back, we are definitely staying here again! "
