"This was an escape from the chain hotel operations that are everywhere. It also isn't a huge corporate hotel. The Melrose is an intimate, almost old-world hotel with a great bar, close-in to downtown Dallas. It wasn't cheap, but it was reasonable, considering the classy operation it is. "

"This hotel is a must, we understand most hotels constantly upgrade, but catch the great architecture wanders in stone and wood. Modern day materials are great, but to keep such a diamond seperates Dallas as the best hotels around. Magnolia is perfect located acriss streaght from ATT discovery area, exchange and the best dives for food, bars, historical and aquarium, kenedy memorial , so much history to be discovered here. 5 stars"

"The customer service here is incredible, even with a convention going on, I know cons can stress out staff and hospitality make take a hit, but NOT at the Omni Dallas, the staff was amazing. Thank you!"

"Modern, sleek with nice amenities. Great view from 49th floor through huge windows. Mattress was firm, which I like, but not the wife. Love the fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Room even has an old style record player and LPs to play if you're into that. The 48th floor has a very nice lounge, bar area to hang out with fellow vistors. Minor complaints, the bathroom door squeaked very loudly, the shower floor has separated a bit below and makes loud "crunching" noises when showering on it. Also the shower valve's metal is eroding away. Again. These are small, but considering the rest of the room, these stood out. Would stay again."
